ALDOS COMPANY FOR TEXTILE IND. SINCE 1985

The roots of Al-Dos Company date back to the 1940s, when our grandfather, Dos, began selling handmade carpets, rugs, and traditional woven mats in Najaf, Nasiriyah, and Samawah. The craft was passed down to Haj Mohammed Dos, who established a shop in the old Najaf market. At the time, handmade carpets were highly valued—considered as precious as gold and silver—and even accepted as collateral in banks. Haj Mohammed was appointed as the first official carpet appraiser at a local bank in the 1970s. This legacy has continued through generations, leading to the establishment of the National Textile Factory in 2016. In 2021, it evolved into Al-Dos Textile Industries Company to preserve and advance our family's heritage in carpet production and textile trade.
